I think your classmates may have a little notebook-envy. Don't worry about them. If you like your comp, that's all that matters. BTW, I'm glad this thread was about screen size and did not have to be moved to Mac Forums-Adult Talk...

I got a 15 inch MBP and some people in my class say that its to small and for what little money it takes I should have gotten the 17 inch because you get a little more screen size and speed in something but what I want to know is should people get a 17 inch or just get a 15 inch if you don't do much with it?

Whoever said this will probably have their Dell desktop-replacement 'laptop' burst into flames soon.

Great advice....I didn't even think about that and I don't know if anyone has yet but good idea. You can spend 300 to 400 and get a great display....that will be 20". Then see what they have to say.
