I think your classmates may have a little notebook-envy. Don't worry about them. If you like your comp, that's all that matters. BTW, I'm glad this thread was about screen size and did not have to be moved to Mac Forums-Adult Talk...

Invest in a widescreen flat panel monitor (I recommend dell :eek: ).

Otherwise, you will lose the portability factor.

Great advice....I didn't even think about that and I don't know if anyone has yet but good idea. You can spend 300 to 400 and get a great display....that will be 20". Then see what they have to say.
