If thats the case I'm keeping my 6+. Had it for almost 2 years now and it still feels new to me. Truly the first phone Ive owned that Ive been completely content with. I'll likely wait till the 2017 iPhone if the one in fall turns out to be nothing major.
We have reached a point where the hardware specs are not holding back the phones anymore, so people do not need to upgrade cause thier machines are slow. One word of caution though, be careful when upgrading to iOS 10, I found my iPhone 6 Plus had memory issues due to the 1GB of ram for my usage patterns, otherwise it was a great phone. Maybe apple sorted it out, but I upgraded to the 6s plus
