I had a dead pixel on my first iPad 2. It was annoying as hell once I noticed it. I returned it about three weeks later once the craziness died down after launch. Got it replaced without a problem. I now have a dead pixel on my iMac, even after they replaced the LCD display. But I barely notice it since I'm much further away and it's a larger display. Plus I have found myself not using it that much. It's mostly a file server and HandBrake machine now.

I found a dead pixel on mine last night as well and now dont know what to do either.. when watching videos or playing games it doesnt bother me at all, but when browsing the net, it definitely stands out, but mostly because I know it's there.

I'd replace it, but I'm not sure it's worth it considering there's a decent chance that the new ipad will also end up with one and I'd have to go through the hassle of setting it all up again and such.

If it mostly stands out because you know it's there, stop looking for it :p
