The 6S is shaping up to be an amazingly good upgrade to an already solid phone so with that said I'll take the plunge and get the 6S Plus.

More RAM (always nice), new camera, better CPU, Force Touch, new colors, this phone is gonna wreck.

If the 6S and 6S Plus have identical specs like the 6 and 6 Plus did then I'm probably going to just get the regular 6S. Want to have the best performing device available and will give up the screen size if necessary.

I made the jump from an iPhone 5 to a galaxy S5 nearly 12 months ago now and although the S5 is a very good phone, has lots of features and has been almost trouble free I find myself getting drawn back to apple! And in particular the iPhone 6 plus.

I am serously considering making the move now but as others have said for the sake of waiting another 2 months I could get the lastest updated spec for the price I would pay now for the 6 plus which will be superseded in just 2 months time.

I have also looked at the S6 but it's something about the build and feel if the iPhone that makes me want to go back! Came very close to buying one outright when browsing the apple store when on vacation in las vegas a few weeks ago!

I'm planning on getting a 6 Plus in October after it's discounted. Even if the 6S Plus doesn't appeal to you, the 6 Plus will still be a great choice.

I'd wait.

For one, the next iPhone will be for sale in about 8 weeks (56 days).

For two, I think the iPhone 6 was a weak release; more of Apple self parody than something that Steve Jobs would've allowed to be released.

The 6S should right the ship based upon leaked/rumored specs:

12MP Camera
5MP FF Camera
2GB RAM
14nm A9
7000 series alloy
Force Touch
Less buggy iOS9

Those are big spec bumps, and way over the current iPhone 6 and 6+.

I hope it doesn't get a 5MP FaceTime Camera and not increase the sensor size dramatically. The current one is a low-light killer, I hope that doesn't get taken away from us. 3MP should be fine.

Not exactly the same specs. Take into consideration the battery life you give up on the smaller phone and a slightly over 720p display vs a 1080p display. I know to a lot of people it won't matter too much. For me, it's important because it's the part I'm looking at and using the most on the phone, the display. When I play with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus next to each other, I can definitely see a difference in quality. Again, it isn't a HUGE deal, but it's a personal preference for some out there. If the upcoming 6s had a 1080p display, I'd consider it lol. But I also want a bigger battery so I'll most likely go with the 6s+ instead.
