I disagree. The RAM they use is usually either Samsun or Hynix, which are both premium makers as they usually use the same premium chips (such as infineon chips) as other premium aftermarket manufacturers use. If they were as unreliable as you claim, we would hear many more complaints about chip failures than what is out there (the random posts here and there) like we hear about the Nvidia chip failures. The SSD drives are usually Toshiba drives (or Sometimes Samsung drives) which are reliable, they just lack the speed that other drives possess, so people rate them lower.

I agree, fan pivoting would be a lot more useful in your case.
