Well firstly, in death, you have no feelings. No I have never died, it's just common sense. Second, you'd have to feel terribly insignificant suffering major life situations to think that death is possibly better than life. We all have hard times and just want everything to stop, but at the end of the day it's the fact that we made it through it all, and we become stronger from it and can prevent similar situations in the future thus creating a happier life because we have learned from our low-points/mistakes. How could one possibly want to die rather than live?

Actually, lots of people have. Questions is are their stories a reasonable version of reality, or the distorted mental perturbations of a mind in extremis.
Billions the world over would disagree with you. Even if you are correct, it's hardly common sense judging by the number of religions that believe otherwise.
Anyway, as far as the original question, I can't answer it because thankfully the jury is still out for me.

As a believer in Jesus, I look forward to death. Not in a suicidal way, or with an unappreciative attitude of all the amazing things in this life, but when pain, sorrow, disease, and everything else that makes this life so hard finally disappear - I think that's something to look forward too.

As a Christian, I look forward to spending eternity with my Lord, savior and creator. I am not looking to rush this, or even looking forward to death.
God has blessed me incredibly and is providing a very enriching life now and I'm enjoying those blessing. What helps a lot is, that while I may have struggles, these struggles are only temporary.

Exactly. Since no one knows what it's like to be dead, this is tough to answer.
How could you hear anything positive about death? Dead people do not post in forums.
