Without Rosetta I wouldn't take it if you paid me. I have several wonderful PowerPC applications from companies which no longer exist. I won't be upgrading for a decade if I can no longer run these programs on my iMac.

With Mountain Lion being $20 even for Snow Leopard users, and also being Apple's "Windows 7" to Apple Lion's "Vista", the answer now is most certainly, "Lion isn't worth $30."
