I am hearing some people say it is jet black while others say it is a dark navy blue. I prefer a jet black look and would buy space gray if there was a hint of blue in midnight. Does anyone know? Thanks!

I don't see any blue, except the wallpaper. A very matte black.

Definitely blue. The difference between Midnight and Black is immediately apparent comparing these two iPhone cases (this is under fluorescent lighting):

And here's the Midnight case in outdoor lighting, which makes the blue even more obvious:

You will need to see it in person. We have a grey bedroom set, with a green comforter. I SWEAR the headboard is green, and my wife and everyone else sees grey. My point is you won't know until you see it in person, and even then you say black, and someone else says blue.

I'd love to see a picture of this 😂

Damn the desaturated tone looks fine too. Like a very dark space grey.
But the midnight is great too

If it follows the Midnight colours for the iPhone, it’s a dark inky blue and you can only see the blue-ness under decent to bright lighting.

Which begs the question. Why? Everyone wants matte black.
