Unless I'm wrong, Musclenerd already has a real job in infosec. He is not some college kid still looking for someplace so it would not be so easy to hire him away.

I'm sure he is paid well, doesn't mean the richest company on the planet can't lure him away with more cheddar.

Just a quick question - does MuscleNerd do much of the actual coding, or is he more of a PR/frontman? I know he does some, but it's seemed less and less over the last 2+ years.

Musclenerd maintains the code for RedSnow and PwnageTool. He is not usually the one who discovers and develops the exploits themselves as far as I know, but is integrates them into the end-user software. I believe he is closely involved in the baseband hacking (i.e., Ultrasnow)

there we go - thanks.

Let's see;

  • No pay
  • Long hours
  • Ungrateful, self centered people whining when the next jb/unlock will be available.
I'm sure they will be lining up to take MN's place.

These are all characteristics of mid-level management at just about every Fortune 50 company in the world as well... ie, working at Apple would probably look a lot like this.

Having only worked for or with 6 Fortune 50 companies my sample size is pretty small, I can only speculate.

Only difference is you can literally ignore the Jailbreak users and not get fired. 🙂
