Beautiful!!

That looks like Labor Day in Minnesota.

LOL I hope not here... October maybe... it is a nice photo and when I grabbed it up one day it was before I took care to snag the attribution data, shame on me.

But - apart from the Pope himself (who is attired in pristine garments of a white hue) - all those shades of red - subtly different according to ecclesiastical rank - would make for a most interesting challenge when choosing which of them would make for the most fetching - and arresting - colour for a motor-car.

It would be fun to order a new one at at the dealership. Go for max bad:

"OK I've decided: I'll take the Cardinal Sin."

I am looking to buy a new car, I have seen a red Mercedes with CarPlay which I find pretty appealing, anyway I am wondering is red a girly colour for a car I don’t want a girly looking car.

Don't listen to these guys. Red is a girly color, especially in this body style:

There is no such thing as a "girly" color.

Ahem. . .

I think theory is a red car stands out better when committing traffic offenses therefore getting more attention. Personally I think it’s nothing more than an urban legend just like “I got a ticket for going 36 in a 35.”

There was some research done years ago, re: "red cars attract LEOs, get more tickets", turns out (at least in the context of this study), it's more about the type/personality of people who buy red cars, and their propensity to speed vs. some voodoo about the paint color. :D

Ahhh, the color possibly attracts certain driver’s personality and not cops...that sounds possible.

Color does not affect car insurance rate, so it must be another myth.

Yikes, that’s a good point.

If Apple allowed Google Maps to have a CarPlay app, I’d be a much more useful program.

Thank god. It’s only taken them how many years?

Yeah but in the fine print you have to be driving a car with the right sort of paint job, girly red could be a plus...

and suitably diverse nerds (or even girls) along for the ride.
