I disabled the adblocker. Good news is pages load faster. Bad is that it almost fried my Mac. Some site managed to open 15 ad popups pushing my Mac to high temperatures. It even smells fried. Does anyone know a decent ad blocker?

This site is trash. Check your console. Safari is great, but when their JS just spams the console, there's only so much you can do as a browser. And to be clear, that gif is not sped up in any way -- they really do run the same function multiple times per second.

I've been using Ghostery Lite, and enjoying it. I used to have AdGuard (just the free browser extension), but that slowed things down a lot.
