lol you do realize that the ONLY REASON people are buying an iPhone 4S instead of an iPhone 4 is because of that feature which you consider the "icing on the cake"
Siri or not, I still would have bought the 4S. Coming from the 3GS I could have spent $100 and get the 4 or spent $200 for the 4S and get the A5 and a better camera.
I don't even use Siri for anything other than laughs.
And I am sure a lot of people want more than 8GB of storage.
I guess you're not using it correctly.. or you don't drive... it is VERY useful if you want to read text messages/send texts while driving and MUCH safer than typing them yourself.
Also using Siri with a bluetooth system works amazing to call people, etc.
I am in Canada so the features are kind of limited at the moment but it would be amazing to ask her directions to a place instead of having to typing them in or ask her to show a list of near restaus etc...
Insurance studies have shown that it's not the physical act of using your phone while driving, but rather the being engaged in a conversation that causes accidents.
I agree, it's much safer than actually typing, but bottom line is you shouldn't be using your phone while driving, or anything for that matter. Anytime I see people driving way under the speed limit or slamming on their brakes at random they are either on the phone or more involved in their GPS than their driving. Not all drivers suck at multitasking, but most do. You should just ignore texts and know where your going before you leave.
