Thanks. Took me a couple minutes to figure it out. I didn't know I could swipe the buttons to reveal more options. I've had bitesms forever, and never knew:confused:.

I always swiped over by accident on the lock screen and then couldn't figure out why I couldn't quick reply. :D

Thought you should know SMS+ is on 1.0-7. Looks like some good support and getting rid of bugs if you ask me

Just thought you should know his post was on ... Aug 20, 2011, 09:37 AM ... learn to check time stamps if you ask me.

Thanks for the heads up. On all the forums I've ever been on I've never seen a timestamp. /sarcasm
The dev is good, It's pretty lame when people bash them because they had a bad experience with 1 tweak

I've had an extremely bad experience with two of his tweaks personally, and read dozens of complaints ranging from minor to major about both of those plus his most popular one, Springtomize. At what point do I cease to become "lame" by your standards and have a legitimate issue? How many more hours do I have to lose to fixing my normally very stable phone after his "good" development skills screw it up before I'm allowed to say his tweaks just might be a problem?

Some of his ideas are brilliant and are direly needed--CleverPin is the perfect example. If/when he actually FIXES his current buggy paid tweaks to the point where they work reliably for the majority, I will gladly sing his praises as a fabulous developer. But I've worked with "good devs" of other Cydia apps who are responsive, attentive to detail, and who actually find and fix major or minor issues with their code on a timely basis. At this point, based on my experience and that of others posting here, this particular Dev doesn't seem to be one of that kind. If his tweaks were free, I might be less inclined to kick up a fuss, because you just delete a free tweak and move on with life unless it's really bad. But he charges for them, and thus he sets the expectation that you are paying for clean working code. What you receive typically isn't; in fact, if you're lucky, it may just not work as advertised. Or it may cause all your email to show as blank, your phone to freeze or lock into a respring loop, may even cause you to have to restore (all actual issues with his tweaks documented on this forum and elsewhere)--and those who are thinking about shelling out cash to this guy should at least be aware of those possibilities before choosing to pay for his work.

From a practical standpoint, if you are having a smooth experience with this or any other of his tweaks, I'd love to hear about it in detail, because I'd like to know what's different about your setup. And you'd do his reputation and his sales a lot more good than merely attacking the rest of us is accomplishing.

I know you haven't seen a timestamp. Your talking **** to a post that's way old and there WERE no update at that point or support for the new app .. but you comment like 15 days later basically like "omfg there is support" .. lol ;)

One major thing that sucks about BiteSMS -> The really sucky PINK icon. I really want a more manly icon.

Who the hell thinks that the PINK icon is good?

The joy of being jailbroken: it's not like anyone is forcing you to put up with it. :D

There's a tweak on Cydia titled something like Black BiteSMS icon. I think there's also one to replace it with the one from the stock messages icon. Or you can change it yourself either manually or with Winterboard, which is what most of the rest of us do. I'm a girl who likes pink a lot--and that ugly pink icon didn't last a day on my phone even before I got into theming. It was the first thing I changed after installing Bite and I've never seen it for more than a few minutes.
