iPad Is the £121 difference in price between refurb iPad 3 & 4 worth it for me?

I'd get the iPad 4 personally, since the ipad 4 will get iOs 8 whereas the 3 won't.

Op get the iPad 4 it fixes everything that was wrong with the 3. Tbh the 3 came to early and without the extra power of the newer chip in the 4 it was a step backwards
I think your jumping to conclusions about how long the 3 will be supported by iOS. The 2 runs iOS 6, it may lack a few features such as Siri, but I didn't have any issues running iOS 6 on my iPad 2.
How much are the following worth to you
1. Extended LTE coverage. If your going WiFi only then this obviously doesn't matter, if you live outside the US and want true 4G then I think it would be well worth the price
2. Lightening adter, nice if you have the iPhone 5, otherwise not a big deal.
3. A6x vs A5X possibly worth it if you run any apps that lagged on the ipad3 (no idea which apps these might be). May be more relevant in the future, but I think that with the possible exception of some games, most developers will continue to focus on the 5/A5X

Nothing at all. It's the same iPad that everyone was buying happily a month ago. And just compare the price for iPad 3 + 16GB to iPad 2 + 16GB. It's a steal.
I think the decision might be clearer if you didn't compare different iPads with different prices, but check out iPads with the same price. Pick the iPad 3 that you want. Then check which iPad 4 you get for the same money and compare which one you prefer. So what iPad 4 do you get for £439 and which one do you prefer?
Well the A5 is last years chip, so think about how the A4 holds up 2 years later in 2012. I'd rather be on the cutting edge with room to grow.

That's why we had this huge number of complaints when it was replaced. They all said "iPad 3 is underpowered, and Apple is evil for releasing a faster iPad 4.".
