It sure looks like people are really preferring the 5s with its advanced features and styling. Has Apple made a mistake in producing the 5c?

like ive said many times, the demographic of people who would buy a 5C do not buy iPhones on launch weekends. They buy iphones when their contracts expire which can be anytime between now and the iP6. Those people are price conscious, not feature-conscious.

So you can't really judge launch weekend sales of the 5S and 5C and say the 5C is a flop.

A friend i know just 3 months ago bought a 4S in lieu of a 5 because she didn't need those "features"

i believe its to early to make an decision like that but also i believe the overall effect the 5s will sell more!

I don't think so. My secretary bought a white 5c, has had it for 2 days now and loves it. She came from a Samsung galaxy and is now bugging her husband to switch to an iPhone as well.

The 5c is a very nice phone, and is quicker on the draw with Siri than my 4S. The build quality is very nice and tolerances on it are also very good.

Even if both of them sell at different rates, why would it be a mistake to give the customer options?
