Is the Apple Watch worth buying?

My local Apple Store didn't have any in stock so I placed an online order. Does anyone know why it would take until January 6th for me to receive the Apple Watch? I'm in Canada and I bought the 42 mm stainless steel with black band. I'm very impatient and I don't know if I can wait almost a month for it :(

January 6th isn't that far out. And Apple tends to ship ahead of time, so it's very possible you could receive it ahead of time.
