I currently have an old 12South HighRise stand which I have been using since iPhone 5S. I then used it for iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus. Wondering if I should get a new dock or continue using it for 1 more year.

I also have a Spigen night stand dock for my Apple Watch since last year.

Wondering if I should upgrade both to the Belkin Valet 2 in one charger (iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch). Is it any good?

What are your thoughts?

I bought the original Belkin Valet dock around a year ago, and i'm still using it with my original series 0 Watch and iPhone 6. It's well made, compact and an elegant solution for charging both devices with a single charging lead. The ability to raise and lower the Lightning connector is useful when using a case on the iPhone. Not a cheap buy, but I haven't regretted it.

is this the original one or the updated one?

No nightstand mode if you are a fan of it.
I noticed that but that is not really a deal breaker since my wife will continue to use her SGP nightstand dock for her watch.
[doublepost=1476543177][/doublepost]Is there any other dock better than Belkin Valet?

I bought the Belkin a year ago from Apple Store. It's been great. Putting the watch on the charger is a breeze especially in the dark.

Lack of nightstand mode I thought might be a drawback, but I never found myself using it anyways.

By far the best dock I've seen or used.

I bought the Spigen for travel charging, but never use it anymore when I travel. I didn't like the Spigen because it never really "sticks" to any surface very well. Just my thoughts.

I'd like to add one question to this thread:
is the Belkin Valet dock "bedroom proof", i.e., completely silent when charging the phone and watch, or is there any perceptible noise (e.g. high pitch buzz) when the bedroom is otherwise completely silent at night?

Thank you!
I read on another forum someone returned his Belkin Valet due to buzzing noise at night, but then maybe that was just a one-off :)

I bought the Belkin Valet Apple Watch/iPhone charger combo yesterday from the Apple Store and I couldn't be happier.

No need for any separate cables and can charge both my phone and watch at the same time. The base is sturdy and the chrome arms for the watch charger looks durable and classy. Considered the latest PowerHouse charger from Belkin but it looked cheap with the plastic base.

Also, no issues with hiss or buzz during charging as mentioned by some of the reviews on the Apple Store online.

Was a bit more expensive than I would've liked but you get what you pay for I suppose.
