Certainly, to my mind, the Coen brothers' second best film.
"Shut the f**k up, Donny!"
I am the Walrus
One of the best characters from a film, ever.
Watching them polishing their balls was an absolute riot. And I haven't seen the film since it was released, so the fact that I remember the ball-polishing scene so vividly goes to show you how much of an impact it had on my life.

I use that line on a daily basis with my friends.
I've seen the movie so many times...it's big in college right now. In some way I see it as a cultural marker, if you want to overanalyze you can draw out a lot of themes that define the transition into the era we're living in right now.
The Dude abides
My favorite movie. Definitely a milestone. It's gaining popularity all the time. My friends and I had a Big Lebowski night where we stayed in drinking White Rusians watching the movie.

One of my all time favourite movies.
Watched it, but didn't even get a chuckle out of me once. Only good parts were the dream sequence and the Autobahn cover.
It is close to perfect.

My first car (which I had before the film) was a '72 Gran Torino (The Dude's car), so I definitely identified with this film straight away.
I haven't watched it all the way through for a few years, but I watch certain clips of it quite often for a quick chuckle.
My favorite line:
8-year olds, dude
My favorite movie. One year I *will* attend LebowskiFest.
Even got a little shrine in the living room
