My favorite movie. One year I *will* attend LebowskiFest.

Even got a little shrine in the living room 😉

I hear Lebowski fest is over by the In-n-Out Burger, Dude.

More like a cultural tombstone. When a culture can laugh and find humor in such a bad movie (not singling this one out, there are many others much worse), it is not a good sign.

I think taking light-hearted things too seriously is a much worse sign, personally.

If it's a Coen Bros. film, It's generally going to be a culturally significant film, "milestone" or not, and always given the benefit of the doubt, for me at least. As to what this one gave us, well, it's really a huge list, mostly involving the performances of the ever-evolving Coen "stable," but the one thing that stood out to me was this.
