Is the GOLD iPhone 5S girly?

Even though it's not a flashy colored gold, it's too flashy to me.

And no, I dont think it's girly, nor do I think a white phone is girly. I have a white 4S.

If I upgrade, I'm getting gray though for sure. White 4/4S looked awesome, dark 5 looks better, IMO.
 
Yes, its chav and girly, I wont be owning a gold phone! Black or white for me...

Maybe the wife will get the gold one in a year or 2.
 
Its a bit feminine. I don't expect to see many men with it, but buy what you like.

I really wish the whole phone was gold though. The white completely ruins it for me :(
 
Tacky? Really? I think you guys are caught up in the fake gold iPhone pics out there. Here it is off the website. It looks very elegant as someone mentioned.

For the record, its not girly. White is way more girly.

It does look nice, and I agree not tacky at all.

But I don't think plain white is more girly than gold, at all. Truthfully, like I said, I dont think either are girly...but come on.

Just because you are ordering the gold doesn't mean you have to defend yourself, lol. It's ok.

It's absolutely an American thing. Men in America are so worried about their "manliness" . :)
 
Easily the best one for resale. You will have no trouble selling it as it denotes that you have the "new 5s", just like the white iphone 4 was a status symbol.

Personally I would order gold, and slap a case on it.

If you have the swag go gold. YOLO
 
I don't think it is necessarily girly but to me the gold 5s does have a sort of jewelry look to it which is part of what I like about it. But hey, real men can wear jewelry too.
 
I think it looks nice. I am thinking of getting either the gold or the silver one. But I want to see them in person before I decide.

If it meant my being able to deck it out in support for breast cancer awareness, as a man, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I say again, as I did when this very issue came up 5 years ago with the iPhone 3G: If you are worried about if a phone is 'girly' for you, you have some self esteem issues you need to deal with, especially if you think a certain colour is needed to prove your masculinity.

I like all the colors but I agree that it is the white face that puts me off the silver and gold for the reasons you gave.

Most if not all iOS7 ads are with the white iphone, as its a vibrant colored OS which looks best surrounded in white.
