Use the iphone app called findone Plus and it will look at all the BEst buys, Targets, Radio Shacks in your area to see who has what models in stock. It helped me find mine.

Didn't you get the memo, Target is coming to Canada they bought Zellers. 😉 I don't know where in the Great White North you live, but I have seen lots in the east end Toronto stores, usually the 32 & 64 3g models, the lower end ones seem in shorter supply.

I went to my local Apple store and apparently bought the last 16gb Wifi Black version they had, not sure if the salesperson was using a sales tactic though😎

When I was looking a couple weeks ago I had a hard time finding anything (except for 64 GB 3G's) in downtown Boston. When I went to check the Apple store, both times there was a line of people waiting to buy whatever was in stock.

Just walked into an Apple store and bought one... so it isn't impossible to find. 2 days ago they were sold out when I called in. I'd say now that its June it'd be faster to find it at your local Apple store than ordering online, but ymmv

It's still kind of slim around my part of DFW. After watching for weeks, I finally found a few in stock at a Target in Irving. I wanted a 16GB wifi and that's exactly what they had. Four 16GB wifi and one 32GB Verizon 3G. I walked out of there effing stoked with an iPad, Speck Pixelskin cover, and a screen protector, 5% off on the Target card 😎

So I got myself an iPad today. Having heard about the shortage I had no interest in ordering online and waiting one to two weeks. That's too long for my patience. At most online retailers it was out of stock so I thought my best chances stood in paying an early visit to the apple store on regent street in London as they are more likely than any other store in the entire country to have iPads in stock. They have a priority on stock.

I got there a split second before they opened the doors and I was then ushered to an iPad queue along with seven other iPad slushing customers. They had all iPads in stock expect for the 32gb White with 3G. They said that the stock would probably run out in an hour. So I was glad I showed up at nine in the morning instead of waiting until lunch time.

I am typing this reply on my black 16gb wifi. It feels strange but I guess I need to keep practising. 😀

Today, CambridgeSide had all Models of the Verizon iPad... and 64GB WiFi's..

Still trying to hunt down a 16GB WiFi....
