It is my fav and I have a 6 plus. I could probably live with a different phone with less trouble than a different tablet. I also have a few Macs, but I don't use them as much as the iPad.

It is my favorite, but it is lacking.

It is the perfect size for portability and viewing. It is where I have all of my relevant data. All my pictures, documents, music. There is no realistic way for me to keep all my movies on there because a measly 128GB could never handle even a quarter of my video collection, but I have been buying new movies through iTunes for icloud download whenever I want, but it not taking up any storage on my device.

What I need for it to be perfect:
-Native text and calls, I love the sms and call forwarding features with iOS8 and continuity, but that still requires me having an iphone around. I dont like its dependency on this device.

-More functionality. Ideally make it more OSX like. In the stock music and photos app, I cant do what I need to do. I have to load my music into iTunes first, change the album name, artist, any other metadata I want to change, and re-sync it. Same with iPhotos to add faces and places. So essentially a filesystem and apps that can modify metadata of apps, and not require me to do it on a computer and sync it. So just as before, I am relying on my macbook to keep and sync all of my data. The iPad needs the full capability to stand on its own without relying on a computer.

It has real potential, but I feel iOS is more of a phone software. Apple should focus on a new OS between iOS and OSX for the iPad. If it uses the same software as the iPhone, it will be harder for the iPad to stand out.

It's certainly not my most used since I need the power of my rMBP, but whenever using my iPad mini I smile to myself and think "what a nifty, sleek, little thing" :D

It certainly has a special spot in my (gadget-)heart.

My 2009 iMac 27" quad core desk top is my favorite apple device simply because it has stood the test of time and I have not been driven to replace it yet, which amazes the hell out of me.

Everything else seems to need to be replaced (running iOS) every 2-3 years because Apple forces devices to break or run crappy with the new updates.

I'd say macbook is my favorite Apple devices. iPad would take the second place. Followed by iPhone.

Yes among my favorites but there is a thing i want to share, while holding this device in my hand the back glass cracked out of nowhere!! Has this happened to anyone else? Phone wasn't dropped, nothing like that. It was in my hands... Can anyone explain this?

Favorite doesn't mean most used. If that was the case everyone's iPhone would be their favorite by default

My 2008 MacPro is my favourite, then my 11" Air, iPhone, and then iPad.
I can´t believe I can still use the 2008 to edit 5K footage from my RED camera. It´s 7 years old!!
I would love to get a new Mac Pro though

definitely my favorite. Outside of sports, I watch pretty much everything on my ipad now. I use it every day. It has completely replaced a laptop/desktop for the way I use them, and the battery last forever.

Yeah they need to make a 256gb iPad . I only have about 2gb left on my 128gb iPad

Mac Mini followed by the iPad. There's so much more I can do on the MM vs an iPad. The MM is even better with the Apple BT keyboard and trackpad.

I have to say my favorite apple device is my iPhone 6+. Thanks to that, my iPad is getting used less and less.

Can you expound in greater detail on this? You have my curiosity peeked now. Do you like the smaller screen or is the performance of the iphone 6+ better?

Mac

Mac is my favorite. Just love it for so many years now. Second choice is iPod Touch. Too bad it seems to have been abandoned by powers that be.
