so you want apple to work with samsung so that you can decide if you want to buy their product or not? good luck!

I wouldn't put it that way. Work together. lol No. But release in the same season, yeah!

It is wrong because some folks do not want to wait when nice android and windows smartphones are released and they have to wait till September before the next iPhone.

No telling what impact the new iPhone would have on those others if the timing was closer for release but somehow I think you already know those others would be in trouble!

How do you have such a linear few of the calendar year? If it was reversed (windows and android in winter and iPhone in summer) people would still be waiting for a year for the next iPhone, 6 months of that when the latest windows and android phones are out.

In a word? No.

There are probably a handful of people who own both. The rest have made their choice. Frankly I'm glad I chose iPhone, as with as underwhelming as the SGS5 is (it's less exciting than any prior iphone "s" refresh, let alone new version...), I would be bitter and consider switching anyway.

The SGS is a fine line of phones. Were it not for the iPhone a lot more people might use them.

But thnkfully the iPhone DOES exist, and that makes waiting a measly 6 months for the superior product a piece of cake.

And pictures? Ya... nothing goes on in the fall (Halloween, Thanksgiving, CHRISTMAS, New Years, (Qwanza???)).

They really missed the boat there... lmao

Well, samsung releases the s line in spring and the note line in fall.

Who knows.. maybe apple will release the 4.7 inch version a little earlier and the phablet version later in the year? No idea, just speculating.

Idc either way, I'm coming back to the iphone once the 6 is released.

You have a point. I guess in my mind I shoot with my DSLR during those holidays. So I'm indoors at a house. I can set down on a table. Whereas in the spring /summer I dress light weight and like to minimize what I carry when I'm walking around at an art fair or ren fest or at the beach or something. So I don't lug my DSLR with me unless it's specifically a photo hike.

But you do still have a point.
