I have the Black model, even though I hate scratches but I think it can do fine. As long as the screen isn't scratched. I went ahead and signed up for the iUP and will be picking my Jet Black model tonight.

I have matte black looks great. I use a case. As I'm hard on phones. I have held JB at Apple Store aand agree is nice and no as slippery as other colors. No mater how good you take care of JB it's going to show wear. After all it's a phone not a piece of furniture. JMOP . Congratulations to all those that scored JB at Apple stores this weekend.

Fwiw, I'm still mighty jealous of the Jet Black -- every time I see it.

The funny thing is, a couple colleagues finally got their hands on a Jet Black, and when you ask them how they like it, they're usually dismissive and say, "It's nice but I'd recommend you'd go with the Black because of the scratches."

But when you ask them if they would trade their Jet Black for Matte if one became available, I get a resounding "Hell NO, I love my Jet Black!"
It feels so nice it makes me wonder what took so long. Imagine different colored phones. I would love a red color.

A red would look amazing especially the red bezels and a "dark mode" in IOS if Apple ever release one. I would be all over it.

I'm gonna be 100% honest here. I was not able to get my jet black iPhone 7 plus on launch day because Best Buy screwed up my preorder. A couple days later I found a black 7 plus. Well today I was able to finally get a jet black from the Apple Store. The last couple weeks I kept watching videos and reading reviews about the jet black. As hard as I tried I couldn't get it out of my head!! Don't get me wrong the black is nice but the jet black is in a league of its own and I couldn't be happier. It all starts with the black box.
I am in the same boat. Ordered matte black 7 Plus for delivery on launch day because I couldn't get the jet black. Stopped in the Apple Store on Friday night and picked up a jet black 7 Plus. I have two lines of service (work/personal), but my work phone is my primary device. Feels a little silly to have a 2nd premium device on a secondary, rarely used line of service but I'm tempted to keep them both.

It doesn't scratch nearly as easily as it's been made out to. Only 5 days in here but with no protection of any kind, and it doesn't have a mark yet.

Plus it's extraordinarily beautiful.
