Its a may be problem if you have Intel HD graphics 6000 like me on MBA..

Not sure if 2020-003 fixes that, but i'm not gonna be a guiena pig.

I tried the gPUReatrt stuff from Terminal, but it didn't help. So, now i'm back on a clean install of Mojave only this time without this update.

I was afraid of installing this update, but did it yesterday. For some reasons my RAM management significantly improved (I have 8 gb RAM on my MBP 13 2019 4 ports) and whole system performance is better now.

I personally see Security update 2020-004 when i go to check for updates under software update in the settings app on Mojave on my 2019 iMac, So is it safe to say that its recommended to install this update now and that the issue that was presented with the prior security update that was released by apple has now been resolved in this latest patch? i also see macOS Supplemental Update available to install for my 2019 iMac

If you update...go from the Apple site and not from update in your system preferences icon. To me when I updated from the apple site itself it was a cleaner install. The one from the system preferences was wonky. I'm testing it now for a few days and I previously have CC another drive in case this doesn't work...but aside for the long indexing and starts up for the first few times it seems to be working so far. #fingerscrossed.

Have you updated to Security Update 2020-004?

Many people, including myself, have been experiencing daily crashes when putting a Mac to sleep or shutting down. Its commonly referred to as the "Bridge OS" crash and it began after installing SecUpd 2020-002. There was a firmware update in that release that seems to be the culprit. We have expected each subsequent SecUpd to fix this issue but so far none has.
I boot my 2018 MacMini every morning and am greeted with the crash notification and every day I send a crash report to Apple. Many see the same notification after putting their machines to sleep and later waking them up. There is a very long discussion by MacMini owners in the Apple forums. 2020-002 has also affected other machines. It is suspected that the T2 chip may be involved.
