Is the MacBook a laptop?

I was always under the impression a notebook was a portable computer that didn't have a CD-ROM and was thinner.

More like a "notebook" in its size

Notebooks are for wealthy professionals whose lives are defined by achievements. Laptops are for middle class wannabes who make less than $250k / yr. Notebook owners chase life while laptop owners are chased by others' lives.

Welp, since the iPad Pro can't connect to a 2560x1440 display with a tethered bluetooth mouse and keyboard I'm going to call the Macbook a notebook!
