FWIW, not having a wallet in my back pocket took some time to adjust, but it's ultimately better for your back to not have that impeding your sitbone when you're actually sitting.

Ignore the wallet itself - the idea that there is one less thing to carry and keep track of is the point, that's the value.

As someone else mentioned they don't even carry a wallet at all, using the virtual wallet in the iPhone. That's awesome and excited for a future where this is normalized, hopefully sooner than later.
Doesn’t the MagSafe wallet carry just 3 cards? You’re not going to throw out your back by sitting on three cards in your back pocket.

I was thinking of picking one up mostly for the Find My feature. From what I’m reading here it does not have the full capabilities like an Airtag? Does it only alert you when it becomes disconnected from your phone and give you that location? My plan would be at times to use it as a regular wallet but still want the ability to track it if it’s moving stone with my phone.

Another question with it being leather does it hold one card or two cards as well as it holds three? Or would only one card tend to fall out?

I want the MagSafe wallet so I can not have to carry around my wallet everywhere, but I can still detach it and use MagSafe car mounts.

Apple’s MagSafe wallet I’ve heard is the best quality and has the strongest magnets. It’s also the only one I can find with any sort of Find Amy compatibility, even if it’s just the location of where the wallet fell off.

Is the wallet worth $60 to you? I mean, that’s more than I spent on my normal wallet. I’m also worried that it’ll fall off and I’ll lose it somewhere. Any feedback/reviews would be helpful. Thanks!
No, it is not worth it, to me. I bought it and used it for a few days and it did not work out, so i returned it. It may very well work out for a lot of people and you, but to me it was not.

As soon as you take it off the back of the phone it will send you a notification after 1 min with the address where it was taken off. For how many card that can fit i would say about 2 to 3 depending on the cards. 3 flat card will work well. 3 cards with raised characters will be a little more difficult to take out the wallet.

As much as I wanted to love the Apple Wallet I discovered that it did not last more than 10 months before the sides started "melting" and became sticky. I switched over to the Popsocket MagSafe Wallet and LOVE IT. The ability to hold more than 3 cards and have a Popsocket is awesome. I just ordered the Wally Jr Magsafe Wallet from Distil Union and that should arrive in the next couple of days

I bought an Apple Wallet to go with my new 13 Pro Max. I have been wanting to reduce the size of the wallet I carry for a while now. When I saw that my state was one of the states that will be allowing you to put your drivers license in the wallet app in the near future I decided to buy the Apple Wallet and try it out. As of right now I have my drivers license, debit card, and concealed carry ID in it. I really like it so far and am glad I bought it. The Find My seems to work well also.
My state is one of those states as well but my question is that are businesses and establishments required to accept the digital license or can they refuse goods/services if you do not have the physical card with you?

I don’t have the MagSafe version, I have the Wally micro, definitely my favorite wallet

I have been intending to look up this thread and add some comments, thanks Spaceship for doing so. I bought my wallet at the same time as my iPhone 13pm and have been using it every day since. My state doesnt have digital ID yet so I need both my DL and my CCW. Plus Walmart does not do Applepay so I need at least one card for that. I have come to appreciate the Apple wallet as a convenient way to make sure I always have this minimum with me. I also have usually a $20 or $100 bill folded flat between the cards for emergencies. After 4-5 months the quality of the wallet is holding up perfectly, no fraying or "melting" whatever that is. I have to admit, the first couple of weeks using it, I was very skeptical, but now I am an enthusiastic convert.

This is not my wallet but a picture I pulled from Google, the sides of the wallet become very very soft and sticky.

*Edited because it triggered another user for some odd reason*
There is actually another MacRumors page about it here: MagSafe wallet side is “peeling” off | MacRumors Forums

Same here. DL, conceal license, Citibank CC, and $20 bill.

Lol! An entire thread all of four pages that was primarily two guys arguing back and forth. Half the posts were people saying that they had no problem with their wallets. I'm glad you have a wallet now that you are satisfied with but there is no problem with Apples Magsafe wallets.

Fozzie....take a deep breath, chill, and take another sip of the Apple kool aid. I did not bash Apple's MagSafe Wallet, I simply stated what went wrong with mine and that it caused me to explore other options. During the multiple months that I used it, I really enjoyed it.

I have not been aware of this before. I guess I will have to keep an eye for that as mine gets older.
just pulled mine out of the bowl it was in and that one depressed side is the one that has peeled or melted and is very sticky

I have the moft wallet which replaced the magsafe wallet - i think that's better value. I love these magsafe wallets, i also have an android phone which i put a metal ring so i can put the same wallet on there.

The magsafe wallet, i noticed some junk coming off on the sides which seems to feel like some kind of wax, it's hard to say. You can get replacements that are just as good, nothing special about the apple version.

definitely tried the MOFT wallet however the magnet on it was the absolute worst and i returned it the same day. I wish it was better because it is a great concept.

I like it but I’m not in love with it. I find it hard to get the cards out with three in the wallet. Plus removing it to get the cards out and using to fumble or set down the phone ( I set it back in my purse) but idk seems like too many steps for me. Even my husband would have to pass me his phone to hold as he did his transaction. We just got bullstrap and I just got the regular and got the portfolio for my husband cuz he likes to carry his cards and he finds he likes that better.

I purchased the new MOFT blue magnetic wallet stand. The hold on this Magnet, I find, is better than the black wallet stand that I owned previously. Which one did you own?

Originally I purchased the black version and once I sent their customer service a message asking about the magnet strength they sent me a blue one for free, even then I did not find there to be much difference at all.

My Wally Jr MagSafe wallet arrived this morning and wow was I extremely disappointed in the magnet strength when attached to my phone. I tested both on the bare iPhone 12PM and with 5 MagSafe cases and it falls right off. Put it right back in its packaging and emailed Distil Union to see if theres a chance its defective or this is what the magnet strength is going to be for all units.
