Hmm I'm on version 0.9.3905, and having this problem with my icon alerts

It looks a little bit off, not a big deal but does it happen to anyone or anybody knows how to fix this? (Have tried different themes, same problem after update, the "1" used to be perfectly in the center of the circle)

Thanks!

I'm using the Basalt Hd theme and find the notification still bang in the middle of the badge.

Seems people are experiencing different issues.
Perhaps it's down to the themes or changes they have made manually are not syncing properly with winterboard.

Have you tried using another theme to see if your issue remains ?

Bingo. I still have WB installed though, just in case I ever need it for something. You never know. Leaving it sit in Cydia doesn't do any harm.

How do you mod, then? SSH only ( sorry, been a while since I jailbroken - 4.1)?

Same here. Takes no more than a few minutes.

Only downside for n00bs is needing to know what files do what. I have some experience w/ iFile editing icons/lockscreens/widgits, etc. just not sure iFunbox is the most effective for your average user (or even me w/ moderate experience)... Could potentially remove the wrong thing & screw themselves.

This is true, but we all had to start somewhere. I started with iFile on my iPhone, then used it on my iPad 2 and loved the extra real estate. Then moving to iFunbox made life even easier. Once you learn the basics, where everything is kept and notice that most devs keep the same or similar naming conventions, it is fairly easy to do this.

I can't stress enough to ALWAYS backup any file(s) you are planning on modifying/moving/deleting/renaming/etc.
