I ordered a T-Mobile 6+ with the hope of using it with AT&T.

Anyone know if I need to activate it or connect it to iTunes before I go to the local AT&T store to ask for a nano SIM for my number?

The AT&T rep won't deny me a nano SIM because its a T-Mobile contract free iPhone and not a AT&T iPhone?

I bought one of these with my 5:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009P16FKY/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1535523722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B009ERXEDK&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0BFNWW2S2JV01C7W382Q

It's a nanosim cutter, but the one I bought came with emery cloth to sand down the thickness, because the microsim is thicker. This was a while ago, because AT&T pay as you go didn't like the whole "iPhone on their plan" thing, but they have gotten better with the newer plans, so you could ask anyway.

I rather just get a nano sim from AT&T since I am a customer with them and it would be presumably free since I'm on a family plan.

I'd just like to know if they would deny me a nano SIM because its a T-Mobile contract free iPhone and not a AT&T iPhone.

Any know if they would deny me?

They probably won't even ask why you're replacing it.

I spoke with an ATT rep and they told me I should have no problem getting the phone activated with a new sim

I'm waiting in line to get an AT&T 6 Plus off-contract. If I don't get one I'll be buying the TMobile off-contract from Apple's website, just waiting for the one post to confirm it is 100% unlocked.

If the AT&T one is sold out and the TMobile one is still avalible, I will. If it's sold out, I'm just going to order the TMobile "off-contract" online & wait. :\

Anyone got the TMO iphone from apple.com full price?

Wanna make sure it's unlocked.
Mine is out for delivery.

Congratulations for everyone got his precious iPhone

I'm 7th in line at my Apple store and reserved a T-Mobile, 64GB in Gold. Was told it is unlocked, and damn well should be for $749.

Mine is out for delivery too.:D

I'm gonna drop by iPhone 5 ATT nano sim in and see what happens. We'll see later today.

I am kind of nervous. Mine are preparing to ship, so no chance to cancel in case it is locked

About to get in line in Utah at an Apple Store for pickup of a T-Mobile iphone 6, will be putting an ATT sim in. If no reports come through I'll post when I have it. Still 90 minutes to go here. Hopefully East coast reports will be posted soon.

I'm in Madison, WI and when the Apple employee took my order I could see on her screen that there were 40+ T-Mobile's in store in various models. capacities and colors.

I picked my phone up from UPS this morning (bought directly from Apple) and have it with me now. However, I didn't realize it didn't come with a SIM card removal tool, and I am on a train for the next 12 hours! I am trying to improvise something to get the SIM card slot open - if I can, I will post whether or not it is unlocked on here. Any idea will be appreciated. I'm wondering if I can find someone with a paperclip.

If I miss on a T-mobile plus should I pay full retail for att? Will it still work for T-mobile? I'm a T-mobile user btw so I need T-mobile more than anything lol

Hair pin, safety pin, toothpick, maybe.

Ouch! No SIM card removal tool and a 12 hour train ride?! That is brutal. I hope someone has a spare paperclip they don't need!
