i always think before i speak..well, type.

:)

I'm not going to sit here and type a drawn out argument on how you are wrong...

The OP is looking for a site to get music for free. Your arguments are mute.

if the OP was willing to purchase and download music to his phone, he can. Use iTunes.

Don't you think there is a reason there aren't a huge number of sites that offer music for free?

Please tell us where the OP mentioned anything that alluded to stealing music?

Just because you don't seem to understand how easy it is to purchase and DL music using the Android platform don't assume that doing that it is stealing. Open your mind a bit. There are other platforms out there that don't have to abide by Apple's rigid proprietary practices.

Also, this seems crazy to me, but from reading this thread it seems that it may not be possible to DL music straight to your iPhone. It is amazingly convenient to be able to DL music except at home using iTunes and then import it to your phone. I do things completely the opposite way with my Droid. I DL the music from Amazon, etc., into my Droid, then I wirelessly sync it when I get home.

Can you not do something similar with the iPhone? Or does the iron hand of Apple's business department extend to preventing this also?

You can goto JamJockey.com in Safari and listen to almost any song you want. It will stream them, not download to your phone.
From what I have seen it has a pretty big selection and you can even make playlist with it.

obviously i do that, but what if im not at my computer? what if im on the road, what if im at a bar and hear a song i want at that moment....

should i sit there and load a youtube video? no thanks

and as far as the "stop stealing music" arguement.... save it.

Hey never once thought about that argument never took you for a thief. :D

@ Cammer well you can d/l through itunes onto your phone but have never done it myself only ripped cds or dl'ed at home.
