Apple isn’t phone company, they aren’t just going to walk in and...

If you think Apple is going to
Fix burn in after having LCDs with yellow/darker tints in one area of the screen or another every single year, then I have a bridge I want to sell you.

If you think Apple is going to revolutionise handheld devices after the Newton fiasco then I have an Eiffel Tower I’d like to sell you.

IOS 11 has a screen burn-in indicator included.. obviously for the upcoming OLED screen. So it seems Apple has some sort of precautions already there. I wouldn't worry to much about it as far as X goes. Sure there will be some issues on random devices but that's normal.

What about the ‘always on display’ that the iPhone X and Samsung’s have? I bet those screens burn in right?
Samsung’s always on display shifts pixels every few minutes, sometimes the readout is at the top, in the middle, or at the bottom so burn I doesn’t occur.

I’m unaware if the iPhone X will have an always on display.
