I would expect 8GB capability since all the new Intel processors will support it.

2GB RAM is simply not enough for a $2000 machine which should be able to use the best feature of Snow Leopard right out of the box. 2GB is just enough to handle Leopard well, much less 64-bit. This is my only complaint about the MBP.

They already technically do support it, but the first uMBP's crashed above 6gb.
The revisions to the 2.66 and 2.93 15" MBP's now support 8gb, although apple wont admit it. I just want the 2.4 to follow suit.
Leopard is nice and fast on my old whitebook with 2gb ram.

I agree that Leopard works well with 2GB but Snow Leopard needs 4GB to get the full benefit of 64-bit. A Pro machine should be able to do that out of the box. I can always buy it, but I don't feel that I should have to open up my machine or pay  twice as much to get something that should be standard.
