Many people have been happy with lion installs on minimal HW, I just haven't been..Ohh well
I downgraded from Lion to Snow on my 2011 MBP because I wasn't satisfied with Lion.
yea there are a number of things wrong about it..ML is faster like Snow is but then there's gatekeeper
My plan is to use 10.8 for a bit, then decide.
I was going to do the same, but it looks as if my 1st gen MBA won't be compatible.
I plan to buy a copy of mountain lion then go around installing it onto friends and familys computers to help fund my g5 upgrade project
You can also Buy lion from the app store and put it on a usb flash drive to install later That is what i did on my macbook and then you also can do a clean install but its a big download (Over 4GB) it took 3 hours for me to download it so get ready to wait
