So are you basically so insecure of your own sexuality that you feel it could be threatened by a bag?

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

wow...........

i really like it

hey i really liek the bag. where can i get one in the uk.

it would look really smart with a suit or shirt and trousers. jeans and trousers too.

i wouldnt wear it with a tracky tho!!!! lol chavin it up

It looks too big and too practical to be a man-purse. And probably not fashionable enough (or at all) for the discerning woman or gay person...

You know... it would look a lot more manly just to say carry your macbook under your arm and hold the gun in your hand ;)

I've always used a messenger bag for university... it's the cool thing to do.

Only now I live in Germany do I use a Rucksack. I'd forgotten rucksacks even existed when in the UK.

Anything with a shoulder strap is a man bag, unless you go for a fully fledged rucksack.

Lose the strap and carry it by its handle. The design is still a touch metrosexual, though.

When you try to match a bag to your shoes it is a man bag for sure. No matter the look, the intent to match in any way takes it to another level. I say, who cares!

I'm just intrigued to know when you would need to carry both your macbook and a gun. What are you - an undercover web designer?

Brilliant response. :D

I think it looks fine, but then I don't understand why carrying a bag - however big or small - is a problem. Bags are practical, for both men and women. You got stuff, you gotta have a way to transport it. Less stuff = smaller bag. Big stuff = bigger bag. Right?

Totally agree. But let's get back to the gun - Uzi, Colt, Glock...and the calibre?

Glock 20, 10mm. I carry a G29 strongside in a IWB holster as my primary.

The bag is made by Canyon Outback (www.canyonoutback.com) - too bad their website is so horrible. I bought it from the bookstore of my alma mater.

I'm 6'6", about 240# - so the bag isn't exactly huge on me. I'm not exactly known my for fashion sense, I can hardly get my clothing to match let alone accessorize appropriately hence my request for assistance.

I think it is a great way to tote your MBP and Glock. It appears that there is room for a power adapter and some files as well as a pair of spare magazines. I am a touch curious as to why you carry two sidearms? I have always found my trusty Kimber Desert Warrior in a SMOB holster to be more than adequate.

That and anything that resembles that is a MAN PURSE. Please just go buy a nice backpack or if you think your to old for a backpack then get an actual briefcase.

I would say what I really think about these man purses but considering the community of this forum that would offend 87.4% of you.

Take the gun away and you have a very nice bag.

Seriously though, I thought this was 2009 and people weren't not worried about their masculinity? Who cares what your bag looks like? Does it hold your stuff conveniently? Good. Done. NEXT!

But if you are worried about being thought of as a girly-man but would like to keep the bag, then just take some sand paper and scratch the crap out of it. Splatter some ink on it and rub some oil on it to make it look like it's been through hell.

If you must carry the gun, put in a shoulder holster where people will notice it. You won't have anyone tease you about the bag.

Well since you carry Glock, I think it is safe to say the bag is okay! ;)

I don't know... it's a little... well... soft.

To be manly, it's got to be either:

* Utilitarian, like a cheap nylon case or a backpack; or
* Looks like it would be useful as a weapon, like a metal briefcase.

That one's not too bad. Maybe once it gets beat up and worn it will look a little more utilitarian.

Go for it. Anyway, who's going to mess with a big guy with a couple of guns?

I stand with iSee. Looks a bit metro to me, but once its beat up a little, I think it'll be OK. :) I'm in the backpack crowd, though I don't carry it regularly. However, my current backpack was from my last 17" laptop and it SWALLOWS my Macbook.

Back to your issue, though: its a nice looking bag, but I wouldn't carry it. And I'm a teacher - and don't carry a gun. :D
