It's suppose to come on the 26th. I procastinated on calling Apple earlier for a replacement, I just never had enough time or the chance because of school! I shall keep you updated.


What I do notice on my second replacement, is instead of the shadow vertically, its horizontally near the bottom of the screen. Which is the opposite of my first one.

IMO it bothers me the most because on my first one you notice it when transitioning windows, but this one when I scroll down blogs, or other websites. The horizontal shadow appears, and there's about 3 horizontal line shadows.

I would call it the dirty screen effect, but this isn't in splotches, its in lines which is annoying. Especially when its noticeable not at an angle.

Got my 3rd and guess what. It has it too! This time is on the left side of this screen. Otherwise computer is perfect. Im sick of it. Why is it happening on this retina screen? Is it because there is no glass and its not very straight? I dont know but it bothers me because you can clearly see it from normal angle. Ooohhhhh im sick of it! And it is a samsung screen that suppose to be good!

So any news about the shadow?

When I or a friend of mine is sitting right to me, right to the place in front of the display, you can see the shadow (like a stripe in the middle of the screen).

Despite of that the display is perfect (ok not that good black level as I thought) but the rest is top.

Anyone else having such issues? You can see it best, when the screen is plain white/bright.
