I purchased two sticks of RAM to upgrade my 2.3GHz i5 Mini, but noticed some irregularities when I got the sticks home. One states CRUCIAL MAC 4GB DDR3 RAM 1066 204PIN while the other states CRUCIAL 4GB DDR3 MT/S 204PIN. The barcode and SKU on both packages are identical, as was the pricing on my receipt. The model # is also identical, CT51264BC1339. I noticed on the stick itself, one is labelled SOD and the other SODI.
My question is, are these sticks compatible with the Mini I've purchased & with each other? I've read about a RAM "boost" when using sticks of identical make. Fact or fiction?
