Yup, definitely agree with the Clear Guard http://store.moshimonde.com/clearguard-mb-us-layout.html

It's not silicone... it's plastic. That means it doesn't have oils and it's not sticky. You can even wipe it clean with a tissue if you wanted and you wouldn't have to worry about specks of paper being left behind.

Occasionally I clean my screen (because some dirt does transfer from my hands to the clear guard and then to the screen) with a microfiber cloth and some water (or some lens cleaner).

Is there moshi clear guard for mbp-uk keyboard layout? (mainly the enter key)
I cannot find it.

Giving the fact that moshi solution is plastic, am I right to suppose that there are no silicon stains like the ones in the image I posted above?

Can't answer that about UK layout... idk

There won't be any silicon stains... but over time the clearguard will get a little dirty from your fingers. You can clean it off with some dishwashing soap and a sponge. And you'll have to clean your screen eventually.

But because the clearguard doesn't come with oils on it like silicon... and because it's super, super, super thin (so it's less likely to contact the screen), i still think it's your best bet.
