Island-Themed Sandbox Game 'The Survivalists' Debuts on Apple Arcade

Kind of reminds me of a Nintendo Entertainment System game. The graphics and especially the music rekindle my teenage years.

Creators are Team17 and they have been around for decades! Love The Escapist and hope this one is just as good.

Apple Arcade sucks imho. I will never pay for this.

I'm not sure where you got the idea of "Exclusive". The Arcade page in the App Store doesn't even have the word "exclusive" anywhere on it. Nor is there any indication that any of the games are for Apple Arcade only.

Me thinks your imagination got the best of you.

Well, it might not be written, but if you go and watch the event where Apple introduced it you’ll clearly see that it was made to make you believe so. For me it’s always been obvious. Till now...

Please help team! I just signed up here to try and help my kids connect and play Survivalist. One is accessing via iPad, one on our tv through AppleTV. Both have GameCenter Ids and have been able to connect as friends. My eldest son of 12 can't host or join based on "online service is disabled on your account due to age restrictions". I've updated all of his Game Center settings (allowing multiplayer and "friends nearby"). I've double-checked his age in Game Center and he's fine there. The only thing I can think of is in the top corner of each kids' screen it says "offline". Can't find anywhere within the game itself to change this?

I am having the same issue with my kids’ accounts. It doesn’t appear possible until the developers fix it.
