It says 21st on Apple's NZ site, so it seems that they've taken timezones into account in the marketing, at least.

Anyone knows if there will be a difference from the latest GM which was released on Sep 15th?

I am still having issues with the Apple Keyboard / Mouse. Keyboard suddenly disconnects or out of nowhere the volume button gets pushed to the max. Means I have to unplug my speakers at night so I don't wake up to blaring music.

Indeed I noticed that as well. It also put the date around the right way for the NZ site "21/9" - nice touch.

Actually interested this time as I'm finally un-bootcamping my mother's 2010 Air, which just makes the cut, and want to newly upgrade it and get things working before attempting to get her used to OS X. The last time she properly used a Mac was in Mac OS 7.6. This should be fun 🙂

I'm running the original GM seed and didn't update to the September 15th one. Does anybody know if there will be an incremental update in the App Store later or will I have to download the whole thing? Not a problem either way, just curious...

Just wait a few hours for final release now

99% sure you will have to download the whole 4.x GB again. Just like on the September 15th update.

Given that we had 4 different GM bundles, I think it's quite likely that the public release will not be 16A323. Hopefully the first person on here to download it will tell everyone what version it is. 🙂

Edit: Whomever that is - grab Pacifist from https://www.charlessoft.com, mount the installer and navigate to BaseSystemResources.pkg/System/Library/CoreServices/ and extract the SystemVersion.plist to a location on your hard drive. Textedit the file - it's under ProductBuildVersion.

Apple has removed the MacOS Sierra GM dmg and the picture/link for update to Mac OS X El Chappy! Looks promising for the new OS today!

Apple is fast asleep? 😵

Well, there's likely some coders kicking around in Cupertino. 🙂 They tend to work in binges.

The installer has also disappeared from my purchases tab, so we're downloading it from the store just like everyone else today.

Thanks, care to share a download link then? Not available in my MAS (Netherlands) yet.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that I had a download available yet...just that our purchased GM was gone, so we weren't getting the update that way. 🙂

Okay, thanks for your reply! No problem, keeping my patience is not my thingy... 🙂

Cheers
