Anyone have experience with how accurate the iStocknow website is? I want to go into my local Apple Store and replace my iPhone 7 Plus with a different color and it shows availability for the color I want. Has anyone gone off of the website when they went to make their purchase?

That's the thing, if I try to reserve on Apple.com it doesn't show as available but it shows on iStocknow.com

Pretty accurate I'd say! Refreshed the page and saw they suddenly had a 7+ 256GB Black model at my local store. Ran out to my car, drove straight there and asked if it was available – they said yes and reserved it in my name while I waited for an employee to help me check out (it was a madhouse in there)

However, if it says it's in stock and not showing as available for pickup it is seemingly reserved for the iPhone upgrade program (and people have had varied success with reserving it that way and paying for the phone via carrier pricing or buying outright – https://www.macrumors.com/2016/09/23/iphone-7-reservations-restricted-to-iup/)

Basically you can try and reserve it through the link noobinator posted, but there is a distinct possibility they will turn you away if you try to purchase it in any way other than the IUP...

Just so I'm clear, is iStockNow showing the inventory through the reservation link or through the store inventory link?

Also, iStockNow says it shows BestBuy and Target inventory (insofar as those inferior systems allow), but I don't see any links to those stores on the map. Any idea how to view that information in my area, along with the Apple information?

Well it was accurate, went to the store and got my old phone replaced.

I find it very accurate. I kind of wish they had a "general population" vs "IUP only" view.

Bought two phones and two watches, thanks to it and i guess its accuracy.

Well, I didn't upgrade initially but decided to later. I found iStock on these forums and as soon as the exact phone came available in one of my local Apple stores I pounced. I placed the order at about 2:00 pm and picked it up in the store at 6:30 after I got off work. So for me it was absolutely accurate

This link is for the iPhone upgrade program and will not allow you to reserve a phone to buy otherwise.

I used that site and was able to reserve a phone. On the reservation it said IUP, but I was able to buy the phone using carrier installments once I got to the store. I was able to do this twice too

I have been checking istocknow nearly every day for Jetblack 7+'s in NY, I looked this morning and nothing, now I looked again and I see for the first time one available in Ottawa Canada. I look at the entire USA and still haven't seen single GREEN marker available until today.
[doublepost=1475509244][/doublepost]Now now I refreshed it and it's gone, 5 minutes after I saw it there.

I used istocknow on friday night to reserve my sons birthday present - a 128GB BLK 7+

It was accurate - there was another site last year thats showed carrier, best buy and target stores too...I dont think that site was updated. I used that one last year to secure my 128gb space grey 6s plus.

It has to be, they must tap right into Apples online inventory. Now I see a Jetblack 7 plus in Toronto. The good thing is this is the first I am seeing JB 7+ phones. So maybe they are getting the stock up finally.

I agree. Ive been checking constantly for a Jb+ and today was the first I've seen some which was Canada and Nova Scotia. This has to be a good sign for us in the states. I bet we will start to see some stock this week. Especially since the regular 7s JB are pretty much everywhere since this past Saturday.

i noticed that someone had noted JB+ available in canda before istock noted it. when I saw the comment I checked (and double checked) and saw no pluses in canada. then like 20 minutes later our norhtern neighbor was flush with JB+s.

so maybe it's lagged?
