iStocknow, how accurate is it?

I lucked into a 256GB ATT black Plus a few weeks ago. I just checked iStock, and STILL zero nationwide. I can't believe they are still behind like this.

Ours are even unlocked if bought outright! But after the hell my carrier put me through for my preorder, I am beyond lucky to have even found one today. I'm so excited. Now I don't need to wait until "possibly October 15"

I was! I am currently typing this from my 256 GB JB 7+ and I didn't even have to go into Toronto for it. I truly got lucky. It's a beautiful phone and sooooo worth the hassle of hunting one down.

Very accurate! But you have to get to the Apple Store quick because in store pickup is only available if you are doing the iPhone upgrade program.. if you want the phone. You have to go stand in line and hope it's still there when you get there
 
I am always baffled by these "run to the store and wait in line" comments.

You do know you can reserve the phone right there on the crazy internet, right?
That is the whole point of the stock trackers, isn't it?

Just used iStocknow to reserve and pick up my Verizon JB 7+ 256GB (will use on AT&T) at the Apple Store and paid full price. Apple Store said IUP not required.
 
Wrote a bot to help with this if you guys want actual notifications when stock is there on your phone. Originally wrote it for UK, but added US/CA/NL/DE/BE/SE/AU stores/models yesterday, may be a bug or two so dont put all your eggs in one basket, but seems to have been working ok for alot of us UK guys.

Install Telegram, then in Telegram settings, set a username, then compose a message to iphonestockbot
type /start or /help to see the commands, you must first do /register to register with the bot then you can do:

country = US or UK or CA or NL or DE or BE or SE or AU

/stores COUNTRY
/models COUNTRY
/addstore STORECODE
/addmodel MODELCODE
/removestore STORECODE
/removemodel MODELCODE
/watchlist
/stop
 
Today i was in Aventura Apple Store(Miami) and they told me that if i reserve an iphone 7+ on the apple site with IUP (because its not available for pickup even if it shows available on istocknow) i cannot buy it with full price and unlocked(to use it in europe after). Why? I read here that its possible. What should i do? Im leaving US in 2 days and i cannot find an "available for pickup" iphone 7+ Black only with IUP. Thanks for help.
 
Is is not very accurate. It shows it as available at my apple store, but when I go to Apple site to reserve it says not available for pickup. I go back to istocknow and it says it is available lol...what a joke site. Its done this to me with several apple stores now.
 
it say available for pickup today in Aventura Miami, but when i arrived there they said they dont have it(even on istock is still available). Strange. So not very accurate.
 
At one stage today JB sim-free was available in 4 manhattan stores but istock now was showing no stock in all of the US

Tomorrow i'll be in NY so hope i will find 7+ 32gb black available for pickup somewhere. Im no longer can trust iStuckNow. Its last day, until im getting home.
 
I wouldn't rely on it being that accurate. I got a 7+ by luck as I checked the Apple reservation page for a particular UK store. There were a few 7+ models in stock non of which showed up on iStocknow. They were available for about 30 minutes plus on Apple website and never appeared on iStocknow.

I set up a script on one of my servers to email me when the jet black was in stock. I pulled the data directly from apple.

When I started getting emails. After I purchased, I checked istock and the data matched mine.

I think they are pretty accurate.
 
I made a IUP resevation now on Brooklyn Apple Store. Hope i can get it unclocked paying full price. Wish me luck.
 
Just so you know, you can reserve though iUP and buy the phone outright. Just tell them you have a reservation and don't mention the upgrade program. Then tell them you want to buy it at full price. I was able to get mine this way.

Thank you very much for the info. Today at 12 pm ill be there, hope everything will be ok. If not, thats it. My flight to europe its at 1.30pm so its the last chance.


PS: Finally i got it. They said its ok to pay full price. iPhone 7+ 32GB Black, AT&T. Should i activate it first with AT&T sim or its ok to activate it for the first time with my carrier from europe?
