Why everybody get angry :D:D:D

Tonight i will track every second and minute
i will count each % in each minutes and
i will multiply and divide and subtract and plus
= ???? :p

I think I’ll prefer it in 1080p 240fps so that I can slow it down when it’s increasing in 1% so that I can time it down to the last millisecond. For all we know his iPhone could have been fully charged in 8:59:59:999

This is why you are my go to guy when it comes to things like this.

2 hours 70% charged on 8+ with the original Apple charger that came with the phone.

That’s a lot slower than TS’s 90 mins go full charge with wireless charger. But then we don’t really know at what percentage did he started charging it.

What about you sir? Did you start charging it at 0%? And were you using your phone while charging it?

pretty sure they said that it only charges with 5w at launch and will be increased to 7.5w with a later software update.
[doublepost=1506240982][/doublepost]there you go:

iOS 11.1
Now that’s interesting. Thanks for the link and good info!

Started at 0% after my 8+ died with an empty battery. Only used it for about 3 min since I started. WIFI-ON. Will let you know when its fully charged and how long it took....

0,58% per minute is the present charging rate (78% in 135min) with the original Apple charger.

From 78% to 88% in only 15min...
After 2h50min 95% with Apple charger 0,56% per minute.
After 3h03min 98% => 0,53% per minute
After 3h10min still 98%
After 3h13min 99%

3h16min 100% => 0,51% per minute

OP, just set a timer on the phone. No need to sit there and stare at it through the process lol As someone else said, the charge time is not linear. After 80% the charge time increases to get to the next percent. My guess would be somewhere around 2-2.5 hours from 1-100% charge.

Small charger brick included in iPhone box is 1amp 5 Watts. iPad brick is 10 Watts 2? Amps. You can get a 12 Watt 2.4 amp iPad brick.

So if wireless charging is 7.5 Watts x? Amps then makes sense it would be faster than the included 1amp 5 watt brick.

Also wireless charging means you have to leave your phone on the pad not used vs having the ability to use your phone while charging with wired which can also affect charge times.

While charging from 0% is scientific it is not friendly to your battery. Consider 20%.
