I have the 16GB ipod touch 2G, filled with over 90 apps (only app store) 30+ jailbroken apps, 3 movies, 213 songs, and 147 pictures. And i've only used up 5 GBs. Go with the 32 GB if you're gonna load tons of stuff. :D

Jumped In with 64 GB Touch

We'll money was not an issue for me....I will be buying the new iPhone once it comes out. This will give me a chance to learn as much about an iPhone without actually having one. Hopefully a 64 GB one is on the horizon.

I'll probably give it to my son once that iPhone is out. I figured go for the maximum storage since I have no idea how much crap I can amass on it!

Got my itouch today! It was delayed in shipping from Amazon. Charging it as I speak. I ended up getting the set of 2 protectors from the apple store - $15. Went on very easy with just a few bubbles that I smoothed out with my credit card.

Now to figure all this out! LOL!

PS: Got a flip case, which has a belt clip, from Amazon, but it doesn't close at all. Will have to look for an alternate.

On my itouch

As a follow up:

I have on my 32GB itouch:

913 songs
2,360 photos (only because I synced the wrong file and need to re-do)
46 Apps

22.6GB still available.

I plan to add 3 movies for when I travel. So, so far the 32GB is perfect for me.

It would all depend on what you are using it for and your availibility of money. As long as you are getting a 32 GB [at least] and not a 8 GB, it would just depend on whether you watch a large amount of movies, how much music you have, whether or not you will JailBreak it (which, frankly, doesn't take up much more hard drive space unless you download pretty much everything -_-)
