I'm not bothered by the date itself rather people looking out for anything remotely spooky or bad to happen, and then blaming it on bad luck and the omen-laden date.

I have seen a video of them (Evanescence) live, once, and they screwed up very badly and basically quit halfway through the song (they finished, but very disgracefully and apologizing between lyrics).
Let's just hope that doesn't happen tonight.

Well, if you would have seen it on TV live like I did, you might understand why I choose to file the mishap under the "It could happen to anyone" category. Hmm...I seemed to get through the day without incident. In fact it didn't even occur to me that it was Friday 13th until I read it in the paper late this afternoon.
