Yes and no, I understand your logic and agree with it, to a degree. The issue I have, is the price of the MBPs. Given the premium price, I'd rather use my limited funds on the newest chipset, rather then on what amounts to be obsolete. Yes, I'm probably over using that term and the Haswell is not a bad chipset but I'd rather not spend over 2k on a laptop that has a 2 year old chipset in it, when just around the corner we have a brand new one coming
