iTunes 12.5.5 crashes on startup. Only starts in safe mode

Since the new update iTunes 12.5.5 crashes on start up. My library flashes up before the crash, but that's it. I've tried creating a new library with the same results. It will only start in safe mode (CMD + ALT) pressed. The crash log looks like this

I've checked in the iTunes plugin folder and it is empty.
