My download was only 33 MB ...?

sure, but it's when you actually *install* it that the size really matters. 'Course, I suppose maybe I shouldn't complain - even TextEdit - which only edits text files for god's sake - is 10MB. A couple years back (10.2) TextEdit was 720K or so. At least in TextEdit's case, it's mostly due to resources - the executable is under 300K. iTunes 7.3's executable (meaning not including images, icons, or interface files - just the UNIX executable) weighs in at a whopping 25MB. I think whoever said they're making iTunes into 'everything but the kitchen sink' has about the right of it.

Oh, and for those who aren't on tiger yet, noone said you couldn't *try* installing iTunes 7.3 - just extract the appropriate files from the various installer archives. I'd bet you can still convince it to run on 10.3 if you're persistent.

ipod wont mount after update!

I have an older ipod, click wheel model. Its been working fine with my macbook until I updated iTunes. Now it won't mount at all. It will still charge through the computer but, I can't see it in iTunes or in the Finder at all. Any advice?

I was on 7.2 for the longest while but the latest 7.3.2 seems to have eliminated the blurry arrow syndrome; it was a bit embarrassing to show off iTunes on the flashy Macbook but have Coverflow look like some poorly coded application.

Awesome, simply awesome.

It appears that this release fixes the blurry scrollbars in Cover Flow on my iMac with the Intel GMA 950. With previous releases, the scrollbars looked terrible, and required a window resize to fix the problem. They were also blurry in full-screen mode. I'm very pleased. Now if they could just fix the 10.4.10 sound popping issue...
