App Store in iTunes

If 7.7 is here in a couple of hours, then the app store has to be on there.....it may not be online but it will be there

Excellent news.

2.0 won't happen until Friday though.

R-Fly

We don't know that for sure...

I look for 2.0 to be available before those in New Zeland and Australia can get their new iPhone 3Gs. I say iTunes 7.7 very soon and either a simultaneous release or a very short delay (12-24 hours) on the release of the firmware update. This is just a guess though.

That means nothing.

http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2008/06/09mobileme.html

5th paragraph says MobileMe will be available on July 11. We all know it's launching tonight.

Plus don't forget the paragraph on MobileMe's FAQ page:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1932

"What will I need for my iPhone or iPod touch to use MobileMe?
You will need to update to software version 2.0 or later to enable push mail, push contacts, push calendar, and push bookmarks. This software update will be available when MobileMe launches."

If MobileMe is coming later, 2.0 should be coming later. If we're going to believe what Apple writes, we may as well believe them in order - and that's the most recent.

Yeah, 2.0 is right around the corner.

Yeah, 2.0 is right around the corner.

Your signature is above your post. Do you use webkit for safari, and do you use modzilla on iphone? how is that possible.

We already knew it was coming today.

Release of MobileMe is today, and it requires iTunes 7.7.

Nothing knew..

iTunes store on iPhone seems to be offline

iTunes store on my iPhone is also offline, I'm hoping this has to do with the App store?
