Update/FYI: Copies of Snow Leopard are still available through Apple, however you have call.

Called on Friday night and was able to purchase the Snow Leopard Update for $19.99.

Was on hold for about 40 Minutes, the rep I talked to said they've been getting a lot of calls from those who experienced the same problem, out of date OS.

I'm sorry, but the fact that a 3 year old OS can't even sync calendars from the cloud is a bit ridiculous.

A calendar should not be considered "the newest hardware and software."

I'm fine with dropping support for things that don't work well, but syncing calendars should not be one of those things.
I thought we were talking about syncing phones?
And iCloud didn't exist until recently. In that case, yes I can see a reason for an older OS to not be able to sync calendars.
You could go on and on backwards indefinitely about support.
My dad was just complaining that he couldn't do something in the browser anymore on a computer that I sold him several years ago. Which was a G5 iMac. Running Tiger (he never upgraded to Leopard).
I was like, sorry dad, that's what owning a mac is like.
If you want 6-8 year old computers and OS's to support new products, then macs aren't for you.
