FYI on the Genius updates, I don't have a Genius Sidebar button in my Movies or TV Shows sections. There is an option under View on the menu bar, but it's grayed out. None of my movies or tv shows are from the iTunes Store, so it looks like it only works with iTS purchases.

Is this new? I didn't think it used to say what version of iTunes the song was encoded with. Not big news or anything, but it stood out to me...

EDIT: Nevermind! Totally wrong haha! Old feature.

SWEET!!!!!!!!! lovin' iTunes DJ!!!!!!!!! can't wait to try that out with friends!! love the idea!!! nice one apple!!

Wow so earlier I was talking about how my iTunes Plus upgrades haven't been offered...after upgrading one of them was! Strangely only one though...even though I had two tracks from that album...

Hey, better than nothing!

I've had the same issue in the past; it appears that someone is manually going through the iTunes catalogue and matching newly uploaded iTunes Plus tracks with the older DRMed ones. Two albums in my collection have been available as iTunes Plus downloads since January, but one was only offered as an upgrade this week and the other last week. I've still got several others outstanding, but they've yet to be upgraded in the store, and one album doesn't seem to be available at all now.

Speeds boosts are always good, as well as the import feature. I wondered when that would show up.

But the Genius improvements are restricted to countries that actually have TV episodes and movies. The Netherlands are still waiting for those, Apple.

So a step in the right direction. In the iPod's movie sync tab, movies that can't be played on the ipod now show up dimmed out. In previous versions it would not distinguish between playable or not playable.

there is also a Front Row Update:

No noticeable differences here after updating it. I sure wish "Applications" would stop showing up under Playlists though.
